Quote-only work depends on the specific plan, the records available, and the scope. TOVA reviews the plan statements and confirms scope before quoting, always in writing.

Why a flat fee. A predictable price means no surprise hourly bills, no balance to replenish, and no incentive to run up time. The client knows the cost before the work starts, and the same number applies whether the case is simple or hard-fought.
How to Engage TOVA

Three Steps to Start

1

Scope and fee. Send the plan type and the most recent statement. We confirm the scope and the fee in writing.

2

Engagement and payment. Once we agree, you receive the engagement terms and a payment link in one email. Acknowledgement is by receipt of that email.

3

Secure upload. After payment, we send a secure shared folder for documents. Please do not send statements as email attachments; the secure folder is the only path that protects the client's records.

We do not bill hourly and we do not hold money on account. Standard work is at the flat fee above; specialty work is quoted in advance as a project fee.

Scope

What TOVA Does Not Do

No legal advice. Counsel makes the legal calls. No tax advice. The client's CPA handles tax. No litigation strategy. No testimony on present value.

For related detail, see the services page, the QDRO Services FAQ, and the how TOVA works overview.

TOVA QDRO and Retirement Valuators is not a law firm and does not provide legal, tax, or investment advice. Nothing on this page is legal advice. All legal strategy and filing decisions remain with the attorney of record.
