TOVA is building a national platform focused only on retirement division in divorce: QDRO preparation, forensic tracing, pension valuation, records discovery guidance, settlement language review, and plan-specific retirement issues.

The first acquisition brought the Colorado QDRO practice of Thomas Toxby into TOVA, expanding our retirement division work in Colorado and strengthening our national reach.

The Colorado Story

In 2025, TOVA acquired the Colorado QDRO practice of Thomas Toxby, a highly respected retirement division professional with more than 20 years of experience and thousands of completed court orders.

The acquisition expanded TOVA's Colorado presence and brought Tom's experience into a larger national platform with intake support, case coordination, QDRO preparation, pension valuation, and forensic retirement services under one roof.

For attorneys and clients, the goal was simple: preserve the quality of the existing practice while giving it stronger infrastructure, broader support, and long-term continuity.
